a very short poem about a friend who left me

Betrayal

You left without a single word 

locked years of memories behind closed doors 

you taught me how to dance and cry

but now you teach me how to say goodbye 

No warning signs were displayed for me

there was nothing for miles that I could see

I thought you were my companion for life

but instead you were the one grasping the knife

In your fourth line I think the removal of the word 'how' will make your flow a little smoother in that line. That's just an opinion so do as you wish. :) I really liked the poem. A lot of people can relate to this one, whether it be in a romantic relationship or just a friendship. Well done!

it's how i deal with being betrayed.

But now I wrote a book about two princesses one has lava powers, and the other has ice. the ice princess is me, and the lava princess is the friend that betrayed me. SO i am writing a pre-teens book called FROZEN & LAVA. about a friendship between two princesses with special powers, but later find out they aren't supposed to be friends. then she betrays the ice princess, and it leads to an epic battle. if lava and ice meet, it will equal an deadly ending.

I know how it feels to be betrayed. I had a friend in my life, that i thought was a good friend but she turned out not to be. I don't want to be friends with her again. Nice Work! this is very inspirational, and it does have short sentences, but it describes betrayal in a nice way!
