Mannequin

Mannequin

A Poem by Gerhardus Retief

This Sad Name Explains Your Life
I see Your Straight Face Every time
There Is No Feeling Inside That Body Of Yours
You Even Used Me All Up Without Any Regret
I Feel The Strings On My Arms Being Controlled Violently
Just A Meaning To Be Your Toy
Until You Got Bored Of Me Dropped Me
Letting Me Break Into Pieces Of Wooden Pieces Of Hurt
Let Your Friends Cheer You On For It
Loving Your Audiences Making You Move On
Left The Rest Of Your Victims To Rot
Do
You
Want
Me
To
Die?
Thats What I'm Feeling At The Moment
All Dead Inside With No Meaning Inside
You Never Even Polished Me To Make Me Clean
Your Just Like A Child Breaking His Toys
Calling It A Accident For New Ones
However It Doesn't Suit You So Well
When Your Supposed To Be An Adult
I Wish I Could Move On My Own
Just To Put You Forever Down
But Unfortunately You Welcomed Me To A Soldier's Game
And Too Bad Your The Insane General
Your Life Itself Will Become A Mannequin
