End of story

End of story

A Poem by Gerhardus Retief

So when the time is wrong the clock is turned around.
Jump on it nobody is going to know that your keeping it slow.
My world is one injection of hate so they say they wouldn't want to be me.

Revisit it when someone realized time was not made it just existed.
Caught it in the act by realizing it is impossible to go back in time.
Fix the sour it is irrelevant in the sweet.

Denial hit me faster than the knife in my back.
If you could tell me more lies I would have believed you.
Forever and ever I wouldn't have let go even if you said its over.

If you just stayed a little true to your words.
Now its a black ended story how did it end?
Wrapped in my arms like a cocoon just to keep you forever.

I remember our joys and fears which was used be shared.
Wipe these eyes while yesterday denies and tomorrow dies.
Turned the page already never skipped to the end.

But theres nothing I can do now the book is already torn to shreds.
It could have been you and me for better happy days till the end of our lives.
Unfortunately life is not a fairy tale I shall miss them anyway.
