DEW DROPS

Read thru....

Like the pearl formed with less care

Made of liquid , but so solid to see

Lies the drop on surface with flair

Holding the base with so much glee

 

Adding to the beauty of the object

Giving a demure glow

Leaving nobody to suspect

Its purpose as the mob flow

 

Among the vivid colours of nature

It takes none to flaunt

But enhances appearance of the holder

 

Greenness of the grass highlighted with a sheen

Hiding the top from exposure to sun

 Lies the dew drop soft and sweet

Having the happiness of being worth for a ton

 

The placid droplet whispers to the grass

 "How do you feel , when i touch you at dawn"

Jumping with delight answers the grass

"Bliss it is for me every morn "

 

Relishing the answer , dew was pumped up with joy

No seams no boundaries, though with some coy

Replied back to the grass "Thou shalt live long"

“And i shall every day sing this song”

 

Then came the mighty wind with its force

 "oh no , the grass started to freeze"

Within no time did the wind take away its friend

 The dew's death was a loss that shall not mend

 

The grass started opposing the strength with fury

 But the wind blew with no concern of the opponent

Was there any justice in this world ? The grass thought

To have taken its pal, lest believe or not

 

The shooting pain was felt by the nature's god

Having very little left to weep for

Thought he from the bottom of his heart

Did i not know this would happen afar?

 

The grass gave up the winds push

Sudden calm had appeared around

Came the rain along with thunder

Rejoiced the grass hearing the sound

 

Out came the sun to celebrate along

Stopped the rain after showering its song

Born again afresh and new

There was grass' pal , the demure dew.
