The Fate of a Fruit

The Fate of a Fruit

A Poem by divyata!
"

this is about all those people, students in particular, who are forced to live their life and shape their ambitions in the way the world wants them to. its the agony of such a sad heart.

"

There comes a stone; so hard,

Cutting off my tail from me,

So ought to fall down am I

As the two red cunning eyes see.

Arrive today and am gone tomorrow,

So is my life- no joy, no sorrow;

Ere anyone would see, off he sealed

My fate in his violent fist.

Glaring upon me were the two devil eyes

,Which never ever had borne any mist.

Nasty was he; a scoundrel, a cheat,

Who had ever been seen since Adam and Eve,

Just like a crane with pure white coat,

Who is born to decieve.

So here i lay, ready to be devoured,

Happy to satisfy a hungry tummy,

Yet wonders my soul; will he ever get peace,

Enslaving a being who is born so free?
