Fear

Fear

A Poem by DarbyDarby;;

Fear walks the road destruction,
Chained at the ankles to hate, rage, death, and ignorance.
Her ability to control with the wave of the hand,
Sends victims into a petrified trance.
Her voice is like that of the wind,
Blowing through the trees on a dark night.
That time when shivers go down your spine.
The power of fear embraces all.
For with a whoosh of her dark wings,
Her victims are taken over and insane.
Fear hovers above you like a rain cloud,
Spreading herself like a wildfire.
She controls the world,
Only running from courage and strength.
Moving back into the shadows,
All she has to do,
Is wait for you.
