Overload

One has to be careful when dealing with love. It can embrace and if you are not careful overwhelm your senses

To be in love is a great thing and to be loved is better.

But what would happen if you had too much love in your life From a friend,

from a lover,

to a soul mate.

It all may seem to last forever.

But love never seems to lasts long and then it is all gone

And all you are left with is a fever,

a burning for more.

But for some,

love is just a four letter to be used and thrown away.

Never knowing its meaning or its effect on others,

never caring those around them.

Never seeing the damage they have caused,

but just wanting more and more.

How much love is enough, Is it to one soul,

for a friend and lover,

to a child,

no one can say.

To never know love is just the same,

to be a shadow of one’s self and never one’s potential for happiness and always wondering if there is more to life,

than a career and the their own future.

True love is delicate balance between physical love,

emotional stability, happiness,

friendship, and contentment.

It must be encouraged and allowed to grow on its own.

It may takes months or even years.

But yet,

it may happen overnight from a single glance,

or simple conversation.

Love is never certain or absolute.

It  is a trial of patience and understanding to be enjoyed.

It should never be taken for granted and the abused.

For once the flower of love is damaged or destroyed,

It may never recover to its full potential.

And that too must be considered if one runs across such a damaged flower.

Only then with tender care and patience,

can love be fully restored to its full potential.

And once again be allowed to bloom on its own.
