Depression

This a piece that currently reflects my state of being right now. It truly comes from my soul.

It is the worst state to be in,

depression.

There is self-doubt in one’s existence and disbelief in one’s own worth.

you are constantly wondering have your reached that time when you am forced to choose.

Whether to continue this endless cycle of mental pain and suffering,

or can you actually get to that peaceful release of death itself.

Then you pull yourself from the edge of oblivion and continue on as before,

hoping that someone would come along and help you escape this madness and the feelings of hopelessness.

But there you are still stuck in the same cycle as before,

between life and death,

constantly staring at yourself,

questioning your own values and beliefs.

But something deep inside forces you to continue forward.

And then there is a tiny light,

which brighten your existence once and for all.

It is love.

Slowly and careful, it approaches,

trying not to scare you,

gently bringing you into its warm and gentle embrace.

Before flooding your being with its light.

A woman has finally seen you for the person you really are.

Slowly, and gently,

she move you further away from this meaningless existence and into the bliss,

she bring you to her breast to love you completely, fully and utterly,

with no regret.

She loves you and only you until the end of time itself.

Love is a powerful force, but so is depression. Thankfully, love can usually overpower depression in the end. Depression runs in my family (clinical depression) so I can relate to this write. Thank you for sharing. ~ Robert.
