Be a Good Boy, Step on the wheel.

Be a Good Boy, Step on the wheel.

A Poem by D. Mansfield

Be a Good Boy, Step on the wheel.
Now its spinning andspinning, faster still
Trying to keep, from falling down,
By the end of the day, your on the ground.

Fooled into thinking, it was an amusement ride,
They ran for mother's skirt, and tried to hide.
Step right up watch this fool
Run in circles all day,
Just for some fuel.

How is it possible after all these years,
To be uncertain, to not have it clear?
Lifes twists and turns got ever sharper,
Your mind is clear, but the darkness is darker.

As the light of hope ,
starts floating by,
The darkness will lift,
As we look to the sky.

Never give up hope of brighter days Danny. Keep searching for the light. That’s how your poem spoke to me. Good to find a post from you.

A poignant poem.

Chris, thank you so much.
amusement rides can be scary, they can make our heads and stomachs spin.
Love does that...we get on the ride, go faster and often jump off feeling quite ill.
