Can't get it outta my head

Can't get it outta my head

A Poem by D. Mansfield
"

For repeated thoughts prompt

"
GREEEEEN GIANT! I CANT BELIEVE I ATE THE WHOLE THING, Taryton. .. I'd rather fight than switch. "Hold the pickles hold the lettuce, special orders don't upset us.". .

My brain is a machine. This machine gets stuck on catchy jingles, well crafted song lyrics, TV commercials. When I say "stuck" I mean stuck. "SAVE MY LIFE . .IM GOING DOWN FOR THE LAST TIME," HEAD EAST

I CANT GET NO. . .SAT IS FACTION. I CANT GET NO SATISFATION Rolling Stones
You get the idea. .

Great music. . .until it replays over and over in your head for two or three hours. . .or days

Thank you the bio? That eas just an attempt to say who I am, those are the hardest
I had the song from ELO (your title) in my head for days one time. I thought I was going crazy. I do remember the jingles...two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun...I'd like to buy the world a coke, and furnish it with love.........You deserve a break today, so get up and on your way to McDonalds.

Do you remember the Dr. Pepper ad where the guy came home and found his girlfriend who was an empty bottle with legs on the floor? ha

Yup, I've been there.

Yes but what makes it good , I had to read again.
You reminded me of so many jingles over the years. So catchy, they stay with you and filter in and out of the mind randomly. I wonder where the yellow went when I brushed my teeth with pepsodent lol. That one just came back. I find the brain and how it repeats so fascinating. Love the Stones by the way.

If music be anything, it be proof one hears; if music be everything, it be proof we feel.

I know about a million song lyrics from memory and that's not an exaggeration. It's in my blood but they don't bother me. In fact, I'm upset when I forget a line but that's just a guitar player's prerogative. I enjoyed this.
