She Entered the Room

She Entered the Room

A Poem by D. Mansfield
"

this was a supermoon we had a while back

"

When the sun has gotten tired

and left for the night ,

climbed from the sky

a beautiful woman, entered the room.

The moon so close,

you could reach up,

and warm your hands..

Cupping them,

and blowing your warm breath in them.

she, traveled so slowly,

over the darkened lands.

Night wont be the same,

after she passes us by.

It will seem, lonesome outside,

in that dark, inky sky.

I think I must have missed this moon. I do remember witnessing a blood moon in the past year or so, though.

So many people find themselves transfixed by the beauty of Luna even in her normal capacity, so, in her super moon stage, fully engorged with light, the view is most certainly dazzling. I’ll have to stay alert for her next presentation of her full voluptuousness, D. I am sure that is a sight to behold.
You captured the scene well here.

thank you, it might have been the blood moon i saw.
I saw that moon a while back,
It covered my entire sky.
I was afraid to move, it was so huge,
Like what we had, you and I.
You are a poet of such beauty.
