That Black Silhouette

That Black Silhouette

A Poem by Vironykah

 A deep black silhouette

Pressed up against the setting sun

Walking away

Getting further

And further

Smaller

And smaler

Dragging along with him

the remains of what used to be

And what i wish could still happen

As he walks away

Further and further

Smaller and smaller

A crystal tear trickles down my cheek,

Staining my face

Leaving a mark

On my heart

That is no longer beating

For it

is with you,

That black silhouette
