saturn

saturn

A Poem by newmanpoetry
"

Poem is about learning to love your "flaws". Finding beauty in your imperfections.

"
I fell in love with the Saturn rings that covered my belly
with the rolls that cushioned my back
and the teeth that never grew in right
but put together in a smile, could send waves of joy into a room
I fell in love with everything I was told not to love,
I fell in love with me

This is great. If you're going to love yourself, you have to know yourself and if you know yourself, you can describe it as powerfully as you did here. I don't know you but I know people just like who you describe and this is the effect they have once they loved themselves.
