Three four,

Five six,

Pick up sticks;

Seven eight,

Feeding cockerels, roosters, and hens is me remembering myself as a seven year old kid, I grew up on a farm in East Devon. I used this rhyme to teach my children language skills, and getting them to think on the spot! In a way it's me remembering myself as a child, and a mother, and remembering my time with my children when they were little, toddling around and such, also me coming to terms with being autistic, I was only diagnosed in January this year, I'm approaching fifty-nine, peeling the onion I guess, remembering myself home...
