Another’s Perspective

Another’s Perspective

A Poem by DorkoNaut!
"

A poem for a friend who's helped me with my emotional journey into a possible first love, which unfortunately didn't work out as intented..

"

It takes a different pair of eyes to see
What our own cannot perceive
Things aren't always how they seem to be
So we choose what to believe

Our eyes may see all the bad
Our judgment thus impaired
Joy becomes absent; pain to be had
So we end up getting scared

Another’s view is what we need
To see things clear and true
Priceless wisdom is to be taken heed
From a friend who cares for you

"Another’s view is what we need
To see things clear and true
Priceless wisdom is to be taken heed
From a friend who cares for you" - never a truer stanza

Often our view of the world get clouded by cataracts of hate, fear and pain and withdrawing. We can hold the hand of another while these clouds dissapate, relying on their eyes to be ours and guide us until we can see once more the goodness in the world and in people. A friend who really cares won't let go of our hand until we are safely out of harms way Dorkonaut (class name by the way)

This is often so true, though sometimes friends can steer you away from a joyful end.A friend will confide and listen, but your heart is who you are,and love can lead you to your star,or just end up being a scar.
