Stranger Of Mine

Stranger Of Mine

A Poem by Amethyst Rose
"

Betrayal of family. No matter how poisonous they may be, separation is still painful.

"

I used to recognize your intentions

What was once familiar, is now so distant

Spoken words dance around in a leap

Like spiders prancing

Their webs made for deceit.

Your trap sewn

Intricately misleading

Manipulation your melody,

Alluring

Conceding.

A sirens' call; it beckons.

This creature

Teasing.

Echoing chants forcefully appeasing

Chords of the demented,

Writhing, weeping.

My only consolation

Are these tears I keep bleeding.
