Peachy

Peachy

"
The marks on my knees from jumping off the swings, slamming into the fence,
and falling on the subway stairs have slowly faded.
I don't bruise easily, but being around you has the tendency to soften me up.
These contusions aren't the only thing under my skin.
The hickey on my arm is a half scrubbed temporary tattoo.
It'll wash away soon, but I promise I took pictures.

And there's still scratches on my fingers from your nails.
I hope they leave little scars.
I never want to forget that my skin was touched by you.
