Imagine

Imagine

A Poem by df

It’s like God
turned down the exposure
on his lens.

That is my memory of our walks
where Earth met the fallen skies.
Aries dawned on the East
and your redamancy shone.
Your feet were the sweetest;
even the ocean kissed them
continuously

We shined in black,
cosmogyral sparsiles drifting
through the beautiful order
befitting to us.
And slowly,
your hand fell into mine.
At once I knew you held me closer
than the beauty surrounding you.

We could have walked for miles,
gardeviances bearing greviances,
left behind.
Or we could have stood there
forever as
two Eternitarians blessed
by each other and nothing more

Do you remember this night?

Raw and powerful in the ways unknown, for it's hard for me to describe what is going on in my head, between the "And he says writing doens't come first?" and the "Truely a gift! A gift of art in words!" The emotions overflowing within are sensitive and sweet. Thanks for the write! 10/10 as well.

These twenty-six lines are true poetry, raw and beautiful. 10/10.
