Your Drug

Your Drug

A Poem by Dreamwind

I wish,  you would...be addicted to me,

Forever...
Never ever... free,

Can't sever...

Or say goodbye,
Or disappear,
Or make me cry,

Or cease to hear...

My voice,
My dreams,

My choice,
My wings.

And drink me in,
And taste my skin,

Inhale my scent,
Passion spent.

Never enough,
To keep you still,
Precious stuff,
For this you will...

Search the world...?
Turn me over?
Pleasure swirl?
Lusty smolder...

And leave but can't,
Forget the essence,
Try but shan't,
Erase my presence.

I wish that you...would be,
Addicted...to me.

Hmmm....it's very difficult to love a needy person I think and even more difficult perhaps to be loved by a needy person...so...suffocating. I certainly would not want anyone "addicted" to me! I like the piece though.
