Pablo Would Understand

Pablo Would Understand

A Poem by Dreamwind

Words, words, words,
Don't change a thing,
Don't stop the scourge,
Don't ease the sting.

Pablo would understand,
My inside thoughts,
Would know my plans,
Would see me caught.

In unspoken hunger,
In reluctant explore,
In no-return surrender,
Deeper and more.

While doubts and fears,
Struggle to survive,
And little girl tears,
Try so hard to hide.

The onslaught of strange,
My curiousity dark,
Mind rearrange,
Mysterious spark.

And the curtains close,
On secret whispers,
And my heart knows,
Eager...prisoner.

No...

Words are useless,
Captured alive,
Pandered ruthless,
Held to survive.

But Pablo would come,
And take my hand,
Passion's son,
He'd understand.
