Gray Now

Gray Now

A Poem by Dreamwind

Rebellion

Where does it start?

In my hands,

In my eyes,

Or in my heart?

You point your finger,

To the lack in me,

You're sure of the way,

But not about me,

I'm tired of your correction,

Where's your perfection?

Why don't you help me,

If I"ve lost direction?

The answers escape me,

I can't understand,

The doubt overtakes me,

Sinking in sand,

It's not black or white,

But gray now for me.

Fluid like silver,

Is all I can see.

Pretty and cohesive,

Hard to contain,

Careful to be me,

I can't explain.

My hope reaches up,

Not across to you,

Too much stuff,

To try and get through,

His love reaches down,

Unbelievabley to me,

Coming around,

The lack you see.

One man's trash is another man's treasure, the thought that came to mind reading this... some real sharp and finally tuned verses.
