Consequences of Love

Consequences of Love

A Poem by krissie

Her words were razor sharp
Her hands were like of a beast;

She was a tyrant when it came to relationships
Anti-social, she wounds the world

Because she was wounded when she was ten
By a man 30 years older than she

A man whose sweet words resounded in her head
For days, she would feed on his words

Violence appeared out of nowhere
Bursting into her life like an explosion

Her tears ran dry and scars started to show
But he fed on her sorrow and fear

Till one day she sat in her car and rolled up the windows
& waited to the end of time

This is fiercely touching. Seems to speak for all the tender flames since time immemorial met not with spiritual strength and grace, but the casual cruelty of the armored ego. I wish all the women of the world, young and old, as well as all sensitive souls of any gender, were simply better informed, were armed with the integrated knowledge that the world's massively oppressive tendencies, exemplified by its clever bullies, rest on illusions, on false pillars. Adamantine spirit power can be known in a single conscious breath. Love is that awareness.
