Residue

Residue

A Poem by Doreen
"

A Senryu chain

"

Walk the dusty trail

Thoughts of yesterdays long past

Steadfast in hot breeze

Feet on solid ground

I ask what is sanity

Justifications

Thoughts offered to wind

Freedom is in letting go

Disentanglement

freedom is in letting go, but it's funny how we fear such an action. We fear that if we let go, we will fall to the earth in some tormented downward spiral that will just completely eat us whole. So we choose to hold onto the one thing that will bring us pain.....

Always,

Matthew
