Seeking Power

External power never mine

Humility a lesson hard learned

Yet remains useful

Never been farsighted

Be a horrible leader

Have the compassion

But lack the will

To govern another’s behavior

Prefer to watch and learn

Than to alter others

Rather be a part of

Than apart from

To judge unbiased

So I wait

And struggle

As I discover

My power 

Within
