Daughter, There Will Be Times

When Life Will Try To Wear You Down

Just Promise Me You'll Never Frown

 

Daughter, There Will Be Times

When People Will Try To Tell You That You Can't

Just Promise Me You'll Accomplish What You Want

 

Daughter, There Will Be Times

When Things Get Difficult To Bear

Just Promise Me You'll Never Cease To Care

 

Daughter, There Will Be Times

When Keeping These Promises Will Be Harder

So I Promise You, I'll Always Be Your Father
