Flutterbugs- Not Butterflies

Flutterbugs- Not Butterflies

A Poem by +xDrunkenFairytalex+

It's more than butterflies
It's more than what's alive
not jitterbugs, I realized
They're flutterbugs that swarm inside.
Swarming around, consuming my heart
There's nothing left, it was love from the start.
Melting, I am
Flying, -can't stand
In pieces when we hold hands.
Flutterbugs, not butterflies
Heart and soul melt
With a look in those eyes.
The eyes that eat my heart out
but never make it bleed
piecing up my soul
and dusting off my sleeve.
Kiss the heart that you have healed
Bless the one whose faith revealed.
No butterflies,- I have flutterbugs
Too large and great to hide their love.
Love so wonderous
Love so great,
Love and passion
I can't help but melt away.
Larger than what's alive
Greater than I've realized.
They're Flutterbugs inside
Not butterflies.
