Just a gentleman

Just a gentleman

A Poem by DevinS

Go out into the night
take your vicodin
I'll stay in
you are beautiful
I'll sip my gin
and wonder why
"he" is president
always "he" is present
I'll never understand politics
incorrect, yet my sin not love is evident
tell me how to understand
I'm a gentleman, but your family says you need a man
I try my best
I scream..I'm here,
love, trust, respect are all here, sinners also PRAY
but I am just a gentleman
not a man
I have a heart, I have love, I have all this
this is what it takes to be a gentleman
I'd rather be a gentleman
it only takes a DICK to be a man.
