10 min RambleA Poem by Dave W.![]() Just trying to write and wrote all the thoughts as they came.![]() Tired worn soul, stretched from desire, thin on the inside, nothing left but memories, strange drinks served, confused meandering in a fog haze, unknown to myself, I’ll put this and that on the shelf, let’s return to what was, calm rivers and beautiful prose, I've had my fill, the ride continues on, Raison d'etre aghast at the reason the meaning for a purpose given to me, rambling of words , this exercise of life, looking for meaning to write, against the current is no longer profitable, I stumble across the page hoping for the ideas to take shape, what can come from a writ of minutes 10, "It's Monday again" he says to himself for the hundredth time, oh God let me connect, let my thoughts coalesce, abandoned regrets, look to the right, look to the left, let my heart pour out to my love "The page", where am I going, who was I, is eternity going to smile at me, will paradise greet me in its warm embrace, or forever to be wanting, fill this fountain with life, I am fed up with lies, with the masses of cloned minds, faces that all speak the same programed words the T.V. told them to say, that’s about it for now....... © 2025 Dave W.Author's Note
