love-3

love-3

A Poem by Dupur Mitra

If i start begging,
If i start a song,
shall i get love?
can i play along?

If i start driving without destination,
If i see you in a rail station,
will you talk with me,
having a cup of tea?

I don't know,
i have no trust.
I am flying at the air,
like my emotion is covered with dust.

this has a lot of depth to it, its simplicity really does mask the fact that if you take the time and read it multiple times that you will get new emotions. good work!

Nice piece, a short but sweet look at love's ups and downs.

Much, much to appreciate in this one, Dupur! Intriguing message, form and pacing as well as unexpected end line-rhyme reversals. Good one. :)

I like this. Moment of indecision, trying to make yourself take a chance. Never know til you try. Nice write.

Wow three poems on love. This feels a little like unrequited love. But the protagonist is definitely bitten. Nice but sadly forlorn piece.
