Deep Scars

Scars cut deep into the skin.
Like when a lion skins its teeth into its prey.
Scars hurt and tear at you.
Like when they burn you by accident with a hot plate.
Scars are deep within your heart.
Like when you get broken up with by someone you love,
Scars are deep and they cause you pain everyday.
Make the scars go away.
Your love will make them go away.

The poem is full of pain and emotion, which I like but it doesn't flow well. Perhaps do a re-write and loss words you don't really need or find new ones that fit better. Good write. Keep it up! :)

The scars will remain. Love can dull the sharp pain, but they will never fully fade. I love the simple heart felt quality this poem has expressed. An awesome read and I to have scars, deep and cutting scars. I feel your pain...
