A sonnet. I don't like sonnets though.

Why is Love so Hard?

Why does someone feel like they don't belong?

Do they think that people don't really care?

Why does that person wait too long?

Do they know the road they walk could be bare?

 

Do they know they have someone to love?

Is that special person you love away?

Does that person fly like a dove above?

Can you wait for him to come back today?

 

Do you know that you are in someone's heart?

Does that special person go out on dates?

Does the one like to draw because they like art?

Does that special person decide our fates?

 

Why does someone feel like they don't belong?

Does that special person wait for too long?

Very nice, the flow and rhyme were great. I know you said that you don't like sonnets but this is probably my favorite piece of yours so far. I like that you used questions as well, it makes the reader have to think. It also says a lot, being in love is easy, keeping it is hard and getting it back is damn near impossible. Great work! Keep it up! :)

P.S. You should write more sonnets.

I love what you have written here. Love happens when you least expect it. Those are the truest words I've ever heard spoken. Loving someone, for me, is easy. Getting love back? That seems to be the hard part. I love your use of rhyme, as well. I also like how every line is a question. It leaves the answering to the readers. Thanks for sharing! :D
