Broken Promise

This is a poem I never added...

I have broken all my promises to you,

I told you I would stop,

I told you I wouldn't after the first time,

I broke the promise doing it again,

I bruise and bleed for you,

I get hurt for you,

I love you,

But, still I broke the promises I made to you,

I cut and broke your heart,

"I'm sorry," I would say,

You would forgive and I would make the promise,

Yet I still cut and bleed because I need to relax,

I don't know,

But, all I know is that I broke the promise to you.

And breaking the promise feels worse than the cut I would assume. Addictions (which to a degree cutting is) are extremely hard to break. Especially when they are used when we feel bad about things or ourselves. At some point it can become a self-fulfilling prophesy if you let it. Ahhhh. There is pain and sorrow here. And regret. It flies off the page.

wow, this is awsome, I mean it, the imagery of cutting and blading, and pain, and heartbreak are so realistically put that its riveting, excellent job
