Aphrodite

Aphrodite

A Poem by dylancjames

Olive skin,

An ancient sings,

In land of flower,

Tomb of Kings.

Shadows creep,

Beneath, above,

Aphrodite,

Queen of love.

Rugged valley,

Breath of waves,

Power, touch,

A heart she saves.

Goddess Greek,

She cannot  lose,

Lover, take,

Of all to choose.

Golden stone,

Palatial place,

Whispers, darkness,

Show your face.

Aphrodite,

Flame, desire

Leave this rock,

With passion,  fire.
