the scars

the scars

A Poem by Edward Lancheister
"

everybody have a scars

"
scars resulting from deep scratches
formed by sharp cuts or burned object
a mark that shapes on the surface of the skin
try to hide and make them disappear

scars  from brokenness, torture even deeply hurt
when choice or decision that become an insult
could be a tribe tradition culture
or maybe just a part of life circle

many bear the scars inside their heart
from pressure of the world seems so heavy
when it should be loved but tear apart
some have scars from betrayal society

scar doesn't mark of the weakness
Only the brave one  that bore the sign
even has been broken so many times
or being torn away but they will rise again

Scars sign of the brave and strong person

Yes, so true, everyone has scars, and they are beautiful life scratches, on skin marked...
Accept them, and make the best out of it, for life is still beautiful, That's the message I got from this.

A beautiful and helpful poem, that resonates with all of us, thank you for sharing the real thing.

I like this poem. To accept scars as markers on our life journey. As in life, when we get scarred it is traumatic, but the memories and scars fade. At the end of our journey, they tell our story and where we have been, bravo, jude

Accept oneself, scars and all, for they make up the wholeness of the person underneath. Wonderfully written. Two minor corrections for you: (glass -- take off the es); next line add an S to shape
