A Beach...

A Beach...

A Story by el.escritor.solo

As I look back on my life, I view it as a beach. I see all the footprints of the various people that entered my life. There were always two sets of footprints there. Everywhere that I had been, there was one right beside me. God. As I looked at the darkest parts of my life, as the beach became a spot for disaster instead of peace, I noticed that there was only one set of footprints. It flustered me. I was both angry and upset with God. I questioned him.

"Why is it that in my darkest and hardest times you left me? Aren't you supposed to always be there for me? Where did you go?" I begged for an answer.

"Oh, Child. I have never left you. Those footprints that you see are mine, not yours. That, my love, is where I carried you..."
