nothing is ever finished

nothing is ever finished

astonishing, your presence makes a gash in the room's wallpaper but you come off as crude
curdled cottage cheese and a bad loaf of bread
you may have won one trick but your ego will get a hold of the queen of hearts and
she is not amused

lets talk of quantum physics and universes not seen by the naked eye you say
okay
tell me what you know
and i don't
please, make me feel perfectly safe, lull my conscience to sleep and stroke my growing ego as you plant a seed in my fertile sod and grow close to my heart
then i beg you, with the most sudden move let your stem choke the arteries surrounding life
precede to squeeze breast while telling me exactly how my answers were disgustingly wrong

because believe me,
i would love that

[i can see you walking away, out of the room past the now blood-spattered floral wallpaper
trails of laughter would follow you exploding from your pant legs and flying up to brush past my ears
your breez(eye)
and i feel the sickeningly common chord being plucked in my left ventricle
because i love you
and no
i'm not just saying that]

I just finished reading another poem of yours, and just had to read a second. I certainly was not disappointed, as this really shows once again that you really do have a truly unique style. This had certain surreal elements to it that I could really visualize. I love the ending, because it just took my surprise, but didn't at all seem out of place.
