A Poem by Zoe

fluxuationfixation
separated by superstition
my lazy eye meanders as your slow tongue paints
my black heart blacker
salt tears evaporate
mid-fall and i exaggerate
the length of the tunnel
the light appeared but i refused to
beckon it's faltering flattery
exuding my self worth all over your
tattered jacket
i stand dry mouth
quivering slightly
my eyes become drought
your smile is turning up
the rage entangles each branch of my
shadow
and i shatter like glass
broken
by the howl of your caress
