your food is the earth, the trees and the skies

Suddenly someone calls you

you answer quite slowly

a girl with her all-seeing eyes

But worship the world as gigantic flowers

and the girl with the rainbow is gone

seduced by the thought of one girl in a billion

they fall for your soft words and ride

unable to see the filth of the water

everyone smiling in lies

The talk of the circle is you and your getting high

your ego's so huge now, youve lost her

the girl in the skies.

There is no limit to what is possible

It cannot be taken for granted this ride

She how she waits for you at the turnstile

I like poetry with emotion that makes me feel something, or tells a clear story using imagery and personification. I didn't feel anything here, and the story was vague to me. However, It has personification and is poetically written. I just wish I could feel something. I'm definately not saying this is poorly written, I'm saying it did nothing for ME.
