The Evening

The Evening

A Poem by Monster ^.^

One always wishes for the bright day,
always the light that comes after,
but what of the time we rest our heads?
A sweet silence, where nothing is, even laughter.

It's the span where we meet lifeless fireflies,
that blink well along with an opal gem,
The time when men ought to commit no sin,
For they should be resting by then.

You fear ghosts, monsters, things in the dark?
Why, your imagination is stronger than them!
When you think against fear and fight,
Then there is no more of the problem!

The evening is a time to rest our minds,
To think of nothing but good dreams...
It might not seem to be of importance,
But wish for an evening that gleams.

Thanks
The evening is as lovely as the day if we only realize it.
