Odd Dreams

Odd Dreams

A Poem by E. L. Foley
"

Random firing of neurons can lead to surprising things.

"

When I'm awake,

I'm over you, but in

my dreams you come in

the strangest of ways--

a face in the crowd,

convincing with handcuffs,

leading a scavenger hunt,

chased by giant chickens--

and I wake to wonder

why you're in my head.
