No Other

There is no other
who can elicit
from me such
tender emotion,
longing and desire.

No other that I wish to 
see. 
No other whose arms I wish to be in
No other I wish to hold.
No other that I wish to speak
to. 
Taunting, smiling words.

And in the dead of the night
no other I wish to wake beside,
only to drop back into sleep
safe, happy, warm.

There is no other.
Nor will there ever be.
