The Cycle Continues Forever

The Cycle Continues Forever

A Story by Ember Kay
"

Rose Thompson is a 15 year old freshmen sho finds an interesting door in her new house that leads to a parallel world.

"
I fell asleep in the truck while we drove to our new house. We had the horse trailer behind our red truck. I should introduce myself. I'm a Rose Thompson. I'm 15 and have brown hair and almost black eyes. Our new house is located right in the middle of the woods.
"Rose we're  here." My mother said, shaking me awake. I climbed out of the truck to see a white, two story house with a willow tree in the backyard. " Rose, come put your horse in the stable." My mother called to me. I walked to the horse trailer and got my horse,Scarlet, out. I put her in the stables near the house and ran back to the truck.
I grabbed a box and headed towards the house. I set it down in the living room and headed up the stairs. I walked inside the first  room. The walls were red and there was a small door in the wall near the window. It was painted black with a silver handle.
I slowly reached out and touched the cold handle. I tried the handle and found it to be locked. "Rose, dinner!" My mom called from downstairs. I stood up and slowly walked downstairs. After dinner, I finished putting my stuff in the room and looked at the little black door. I slowly walked to the door and grabbed the handle quickly. I let go of the handle as I realized it was hot. I slowly reached out, grabbing the handle and turned it as the door popped open.
Inside the door there was a tunnel wih blue walls. at the end of the tunnel, there was a little white door with a gold handle. I crawled through the tight tunnel, reaching the door on the other side. I grabbed the handle snd crawled through into the room. The room looked alot like mine, yet slightly different.
The walls were black and the floor had a white carpet." Hello." a voice behind me said. I quickly turned to see a girl with bright red hair and emerald green eyes looking at me. " Hello. Who are you?" I asked her.
"I'm Maddy Friend. And you are Rose Thompson ." She told me. " You came through the door like I did a long time ago.
" A long time ago?" I asked, confused by what she meant.
" About 120 years ago." Maddy told me like it was nothing.
" 120 years?!? How old are you?" I asked her
" Oh. I'm 17." She told me. "Hey let's go play a game or watch TV or something." She smiled excitedly.
Just then, a knock sounded on the bedroom door and a tall, pretty women came in. " Hello Maddy. And hello Rose. You'll love it here " She told me. " Rose, this is Misy." I nodded hello as the woman walked out of the room. " You never should have come Rose. All of us went through the little black door." Maddy told me as 8 kids came out from the hallway, the oldest looking to be 18 and the youngest looking 7. I looked around at the 3 boys and 5 girls. " Who are they Maddy?" I asked.
" They are the ones who came through the door, like you and me. Bruce and Lilly credit blood siblings who came through the door together. Mike a came through the door 13 years ago, and Nick came through the door a year before you did. Anna and Hannah had a sleepover and came over at the same time. And the youngest, Marra, came through when she discovered the door 100 years ago. " Maddy explained, pointing everyone out to me.
" How are they all here?" I asked. " Anyone who comes through the door gets trapped here. And he house gets burned to the ground without any reason. You never age here. Never die. You live forever. " Maddy told me.  " There is no way out. Stay here and be happy. Become Rose Friend and be happy forever. " Maddy finished telling me with a demonic smile that would haunt anyone's dreams.
" I don't want to enjoy it here. I want to go home. Why does she kept you here?"I asked, ears filling my eyes. "During Mistys  life as a human in your world, she couldn't have children. She wanted kids bad enough that when she died, her soul remained alive and came . She uses the door to bring boys and girls here to keep as her children forever. We can never leave. You'll start to like it here." Maddy told me.
I ran to the bed in the corner of the room made specifically  for me and slammed my face into he pillow. I thought about never needing to eat, never hurting, dieing, or even living. Stuck in a world between life and death.
I stand here, 7 months later eith the news that my old house burned down, I had to smile. The door would appear in another house before a family moved in, and a new sister or brother would come.
4 years later I stand here with Maddy Friend in front of the tv, watching a young boy named Tim find the door. " So the cycle continues..." Maddy said, stopping so I csn say the final word. As the bot crawls into the tunnel, I said it. "Forever." I smiled as we went to the bedroom to meet Tim into our world, with Maddy Friend, Mt friend and sister, forever.

Hey, it's not bad! I actually think it's pretty fantastic!
The story was pretty interesting, and the only bad things I can say are: The logic is a bit wonky in places, and there are a few grammatical errors. You also used I a bit more than necessary, but we all do that!
