The World Would Stop Turning

This is a short section of this story, I hope it turns out okay.

Sometimes I wish the world would just stop turning. I don't understand why they think they can just shoot all the people down. My friend Kozen, he joined them. I mean, What the bloody hell is the gun for, Kozen?! I just.. I just don't get it. Some people have families. The soldiers think they can just go in and shoot them down. My family was shot. Blood was shed, tears were shed. My house was burnt to the ground. I kind of wish that I could start life over. Change one little thing, and maybe this would never of happened. But I know that isn't possible, although I wish it was.
