Outside The Window

Outside The Window

A Poem by Errick Mckenzie
"

Describing the nature outside my window in poem.

"
In the mist of an relaxful sunset,
Palm trees dancing to the feeling of a cold breeze.
As it began to get darker and darker.
I see birds flying back home in threes.
Suddenly the chirping fades away in the nightfall sky,
Like a leaking faucet; water drips from a palm in my eye. Floridians another day has come and gone, Tomorrow we start fresh and new!

This is a poem I wrote at sunset the previous evening. Basically I picked a random topic, and the topic was "Outside The Window"

You live way further South than I did when I lived in Florida.
Live Oak was the town, and it was full of them. So far up in Florida that it was nearly in Georgia.
I really liked your poem.
Welcome, dear one. I didn't realize that you were new!
