just another poem

just another poem

A Poem by emia

last one i promise

black eyeliner dropping down her hair

on a Tuesday morning drenched with despair
the locks within her eyes had charisma that could last for years,
but the color that lived inside, dissolved throughout her tears.

Her lipstick stains forever
yet the mind forgets,
the memories remain
but the lies regrets.
I tell the tale that can make you wince
but no worries, reality can come back from
a mere sharp pinch.
The stripes of a summer’s day
can strike one blind.
The patterns of today are just one of a kind.
She could not last like heaven’s flowers who dance in the wind
but wishful thinking could perhaps trample over those seven deadly sins
I walk the path none wish to take
Its a race back to her childhood that begins from death to birthday cakes
The trees guide me to where I belong,
butterflies who sing their very last song,
Their Strings break and violence hurls
days will go on
yet time consists of undiscovered pearls

her velvet eyes sleep and fires burn bright

untold stories come from her slumbers that can only occur tonight
