Voices

Voices

A Poem by Emilia Kingsley
"

A prompt fill that took an unexpected turn.

"

Me, Myself, and I

We used to converse quite often

In my head and on the sly

Now it seems I am forgotten

We’d talk of things mournful or joyous

The topics we spoke of would range

These days I still hear voices

But the voices I hear are strange
