A Poem by PositivePenmanship

I wait for that message
Not just a message - but a sign
A sign that I'm on your toxic mind.

That your sleepy, weakened heart beats for me
In the dark I know this to be true
I welcome the moon to hear from you.

The dark makes you honest
And you speak words I long to hear
How I wish that the morning wasn't near.

For when the sun comes back up, our secret world fades
Your heart locks up tight
Please return tomorrow night.

I'm addicted, I can't turn away
I know you'll be back but I don't know when
I'll always be waiting for your clumsy love to pour out once again.
