The Dame

The Dame

A Poem by emman

Yes, to thee I aver my heart

That thy heart I’ll protect

And avow with thy cherubic art

To anyone I restrict

Thy past is cipher

Compared to our future

To thee I swear

Thy love I care

With the eyes of thee

I surrender

Thy sting as a bee

I capture

Death of domain

Couldn’t cease

As I remain

With a kiss

Yes, to thee I aver my heart

That thy heart I’ll protect

And avow with thy cherubic art

To anyone I restrict
