Half indonesian I am, moluccan too, but it is simular somehow :D
We say: " Selamat makan" as have a good dinner for example, Salamat is just your beautiful way to say thanks, I have a lot of Filipino lovely friends, I adore them dearly!

try cooking ADOBO..its a FIL-Spanish dish..but it became the Filipino trademark..you have Filipino friends,right?they know how to cook it..ask them and try to cook it to your hubbie :) yummy!!!!

I'm a all-round beautician, and skin-specialist, and when I not loved that anymore I became a technician, in the transaction world, now I'm just a full-time writer, as I'm jobless, because I lost my job in bad health, as Europe is very strict to that, and i had the worst time, but climbing out, and trying to find my dream job ;-)
