Paddle

Paddle

A Poem by emman

It destroyed the land

And maddened the sea

We were warned

Of the great calamity

I can’t envisage

God’s message

Why it happened?

It’s hard to mend

Thought it was the end

Of imperfect existence

No one could defend

Even our closest friends

Who’s to blame?

It’s hard to soar

No one can tame

The LION’s roar

But life is a mystery

That we cannot predict

Serenity and fiery

Is what we reflect

Despite of flood

We need to paddle

And walk to the mud

I know we can handle

Thanks Mindy for the review :)
Ah, what I got from this is preseverence. Life will toss you about in it's canoe, but if you just keep trying, just hold onto those oars and paddle, you'll be just fine. Nicely done ^_^

Thank you so much! Yes, we need to be strong in order to defend ourselves from the chaos of life. :)
